Entertainer Park Na-rae (41), who is under suspicion of "gapjil" against former managers and of illegal medical procedures, was questioned by police as a suspect on the 20th and then went home.
According to police and others, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul questioned Park from 3 p.m. to 10:40 p.m. that day for about 8 hours and 40 minutes on charges including aggravated injury. Park has previously been questioned once as a complainant, but this is the first time being questioned as a suspect.
After finishing the questioning, Park said, "I cooperated faithfully and answered the questions truthfully," and "I am sorry for causing concern." On the allegations of assault and "gapjil" against the manager, Park said, "I believe this will be revealed later through the investigation," and added, "In today's questioning, we identified what was not true and will correct it."
When asked which part of the manager's claims Park believes is false, Park said, "It will be revealed through the investigation," adding, "I am cautious about speaking." When asked if Park had anything to say to the managers, Park said, "No."
Earlier, former managers filed complaints accusing Park of aggravated injury and defamation, saying Park made them run personal errands and threw a glass, causing injury.
