Actor Park Si-hoo's agency has firmly denied allegations that he introduced a woman to a married man, allegedly leading to the collapse of that man's marriage. His legal team is preparing civil and criminal action against the accuser.
On August 7, Park Si-hoo's agency, Hoo Factory, released an official statement refuting an online post that claimed the actor played a role in another couple's divorce. "We clarify that the claim Park Si-hoo introduced a woman to a married man and contributed to the destruction of a marriage is entirely false," the agency stated.
The agency has appointed legal representation and is preparing to file defamation charges against the woman who posted the claim, referred to as "Ms. A."
Ms. A first made the accusation on August 5 via social media, sharing private messages allegedly exchanged between her ex-husband, "Mr. B," and Park Si-hoo. The messages included friendly exchanges, voice call records, and a photo of an unidentified woman, "Ms. C."
Following the post, Ms. C publicly denied any connection to Park Si-hoo, stating she had never met him. Mr. B also clarified his side through a press outlet, explaining that he and Park are simply acquaintances from the same hometown and that he, not Park, had shared the woman's photo.
