The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation has approved the supplemental funding application submitted by the Management-Labor Pension Plan Local 1730 ILA, the agency said Tuesday.
The plan, based in Mastic, N.Y., covers 478 participants in the transportation industry, the PBGC said.
It will receive around $6.1 million in supplemented special financial assistance, which is in addition to the $62 million approved in May, according to the agency.
