Grant Thornton expands the capabilities of its Labor and Employment legal team, with the incorporation of the lawyer Pedro Rodríguez de Rivera, from Andersen, who will be the new director in the Madrid office. The new director joins the Madrid team led by partner Juan Carlos Martín, and nationally by Laboral managing partner Aurora Sanz.
“Pedro’s arrival will allow us to continue to strengthen the presence of the labor and employment law area from the Madrid office, through new matters and more capabilities in an already mature team that integrates a range of comprehensive, competitive, close and distinctive labor services,” explains Juan Carlos Martín, partner of the Labor and Employment area in Grant Thornton’s Madrid office.
Functions
The new lawyer will also assist clients who need to manage collective bargaining processes, restructuring and personnel management. Rodríguez de Rivera will also take on the management of senior management contracts, the legal representation of clients before Courts and Tribunals in different instances and will promote the performance of labor audits (due diligence) related to corporate reorganizations.
