US and North Carolina prosecutors can continue to allege that Ferncreek Cardiology PA and others violated the False Claims Act by improperly billing Medicare and Medicaid for three years, a federal district court said.
The governments adequately alleged that Ferncreek submitted claims between 2014 and 2017 for cardiology services that weren’t medically necessary, Judge Louise W.
