The Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, on Thursday directed sharp criticism at US policies, stating that they promote false claims regarding frozen Iranian assets.
In a post on the X platform, monitored by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), Qalibaf said that what the United States reaps from its dealings with Iran is "decades of mistrust," as a result of its unreliable policies towards his country.
He added that the United States falsely claims that frozen Iranian assets will be used to purchase its agricultural products.
He concluded his post with direct criticism of US policies, stating that they produce nothing but "genetically modified soybeans, false promises, and hollow statements.
