• Quarles will surpass 500 attorneys when it merges with Paul, Plevin at the beginning of next year.
• Paul, Plevin will join with 30 attorneys, 25 legal professionals and large tech, life sciences and education sector clients.
• The combination will mark Quarles' entrance to California, starting with a physical presence in San Diego.

Quarles & Brady is the latest Am Law 200 firm to set up shop in California via a merger, joining with San Diego-based labor & employment firm Paul, Plevin, Sullivan & Connaughton.

The combination, effective Jan. 1, 2023, will add 12 partners, 18 associates and 25 legal professionals from Paul, Plevin to Quarles, which will surpass the 500-attorney mark.
