The aerospace and defense industry is facing an uptick in employment suits in Texas federal and state courts.
Lockheed Martin has been hit with multiple lawsuits alleging race, religion and disability discrimination, retaliation, and violations of federal leave and wage laws.
Separately, Raytheon Technologies Corp., also known as RTX Corp., has been named in a suit alleging racial discrimination and wrongful denial of ERISA benefits. And elsewhere, Textron Inc. is seeking more than $26,000 from a former employee for unpaid prorated relocation expenses after his employment ended in June 2025.
The surge in employment litigation, detected by Law.com Radar, represents a volume far in excess of the typical average of less than one case per month.
The three wrongful-termination suits against Lockheed are filed in federal court in Fort Worth.
Plaintiffs include Mohammed Boujaer—who claims discrimination based on his Arab and North African ancestry and his Muslim faith—and Valery Noah—who alleges he was subject to national origin discrimination because of his Cameroonian ancestry.
Noah claims a co-worker frequently harassed him and that he was ordered to undergo a psychiatric exam, which he alleges is illegal.
The third plaintiff, Marc Gabriel Salazar, alleged he was fired over a dispute related to time off he took under the Family and Medical Leave Act.
