Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, speaking after the NDA Parliamentary Party meeting on Tuesday, cited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s remarks targeting Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, accusing him of routinely making false and misleading statements. Addressing reporters after the meeting, Rijiju said, “The Prime Minister clearly stated that when Rahul Gandhi makes false statements, even the Supreme Court has had to comment on it. This is a lesson for all of us — never to say anything untrue."
The NDA Parliamentary Party meeting was held in Delhi and was addressed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who reflected on the coalition’s journey since its formation in 1998.
