TULSA, OKLA (KTUL) — Thursday morning, deputies with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office arrested a 32-year-old man who had multiple outstanding warrants.
A deputy near the area of the 3200 block of the LL Tisdale Parkway witnessed a car driving recklessly.
Destin Ray Rodriguez, age 32, initially gave the deputy a false name and claimed the woman in the passenger seat was in labor.
An ambulance was called, and while paramedics were examining the woman, Rodriguez attempted to flee into the woods.
Using a drone and a tracking K9, Missy, Rodriguez was apprehended and arrested.
Rodriguez was arrested and found to have multiple outstanding warrants, including attempted escape from arrest, driving under suspension, false impersonation, and multiple traffic violations as well.
