The Reform Party has accused the Democratic Party of Korea of false accusations. This is because the Democratic Party of Korea filed a complaint against Lee Jun-seok, the Reform Party's presidential candidate, for his so-called "chopstick remarks."
Ha Heon-hwi, deputy chief of the Reform Party’s public election headquarters, stated on the morning of the 31st, "We have decided to file a complaint today against individuals and organizations, including the Democratic Party of Korea, who accused candidate Lee Jun-seok of making false statements during the debate."
Deputy Chief Ha noted, "The statements made by candidate Lee Jun-seok about Lee Dong-ho, the eldest son of candidate Lee Jae-myung, are gradually proving to be true, yet the Democratic Party of Korea and others continue to describe them as false without offering any apologies."
Deputy Chief Ha also said, "The Reform Party views this as contrary to objective truth and believes that appropriate punishment should be imposed.
