Today, a regional conference on whistleblower protection and justice reform was held, which served as a platform for discussion on the importance of whistleblower protection and strengthening the rule of law through justice system reforms. The conference brought together participants from different countries in the region and beyond, including Kosovo, Albania and representatives from different countries in the region, reports KosovaPress.
The Executive Director of the Kosovo Law Institute (KLI), Eham Miftaraj, emphasized that whistleblowing is a powerful tool that not only serves to fight corruption but also helps to improve governance, as well as the impact it has on restoring citizens' trust in public institutions.
Meanwhile, Arian Dyrmishi, executive director of the Center for Democracy and Governance Studies in Albania, mentioned six main objectives for the importance of protecting whistleblowers, writes KosovaPress.
He emphasized that the establishment of this coalition has served as a mechanism to support the activities of its members.
