OKLAHOMA CITY (Oct. 6, 2025) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond’s office will offer its annual Employment Law Symposium with an October 23 session in Tulsa and an October 28 session in Oklahoma City.
Registration for the free event is now open.
Hosted by the agency’s Office of Civil Rights Enforcement, the symposium will focus on emerging issues in investigating harassment complaints, best practices for disability accommodations, due diligence in hiring practices, mental health protections in the workplace, The McDonnell Douglas burden-shifting framework and updates to filing and responding to Office of Civil Rights Enforcement charges. Continuing Education Credits will be available.
“We will have an outstanding group of attorneys leading sessions on a variety of employment law issues,” said Eric Di Giacomo, acting chief of the Civil Rights Enforcement division at the attorney general’s office. “We look forward to bringing this program into the community to equip small businesses, human resources professionals and attorneys with the tools to foster legal compliance in the workplace.”
Speakers will include representatives from the Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and nationally recognized lawyers who practice employment law.
