Rep. Lauren Boebert gave a simple response to a viral claim that she had affairs with three staff members — including two women: she’s straight.
Boebert (R-Col.), who famously pondered in April, “why is everybody so horny” in Congress after a slew of sex scandals, faces a sworn ethics complaint from a political action committee that has targeted her for years and is led by a political activist who has peddled dubious claims about her in the past.
“Well, I’m not a lesbian or bisexual, and I have never, ever been in any inappropriate relationship, nor have I ever been sexually involved with any staff,” Boebert, 39, told Sources Say News after the bombshell accusations emerged.
Her office called the claims “utterly false.” Boebert has had a restraining order against the man behind the complaint, American Muckrakers’ leader David Wheeler, since 2022.
“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert rejects these allegations as utterly false and there is no truth to them whatsoever,” a spokesperson for Boebert told The Post. “This is nothing more than a politically motivated stunt designed to manipulate the ethics process, create headlines, smear her, and generate clickbait.”
