The company is a subsidiary of National Resilience, a US-based technology-focused biomanufacturing firm founded in 2020. Resilience Biotechnologies provides manufacturing services for complex biologics, including vaccines, gene therapies, and monoclonal antibodies. Its Mississauga facility supports both clinical and commercial-scale production and plays a role in Canada’s biomanufacturing and life sciences strategy.
Resilience employs approximately 1,400 professionals in roles such as bioprocess engineers, quality assurance specialists, manufacturing technicians, and research scientists.
In Canada, non-unionized employees at Resilience Biotechnologies are entitled to up to 24 months of severance pay when laid off or terminated without cause—whether full-time, part-time, or hourly.
