A restaurant owner has hit out against 'false allegations' made on social media of sexual harassment.
The owners of Irmak Lounge in Dunstable publicly responded to the allegations, claiming the police are now investigating the allegations.
On Friday (March 4) evening, a number of posts were made by people appearing to claim to be former staff members, claiming to have knowledge of sexual harassment at the restaurant.
In a public social media post, Irmak Lounge's owners strongly denied the claims and said the allegations were malicious.
The post said: "We are very disappointed by the recent scurrilous allegations made against us on various social media platforms. We would like to point out that all the comments are malicious and do not reflect the truth in its entirety.
