Real Housewives of Orange County newbie Dr. Jen Armstrong is accusing a former employee of spreading lies about her to the California Medical Board — which caused an investigation to be launched into her practice.
According to court documents obtained by Radar, the Bravo star is suing an ex-employee named Sylvia Nuttall for defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, breach of contract, and various other claims.
In the court documents, filed on December 28, Armstrong and her company Advanced Skincare Medcenter are listed as the plaintiffs.
The suit says the lawsuit is being brought after Nuttall has made “intentionally false, misleading, and/or defamatory accusations” which have resulted in personal and business reputation to Armstrong.
