Rikers officer admits faking injuries in $370K fraud scheme - thechiefleader.com

A New York City correction officer admitted in federal court this week to fabricating injuries in a scheme that made him more than $370,000 in workers’ compensation benefits, authorities said—exposing what investigators describe as a broader concern over abuse within the system.
