Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady’s $5.5 million settlement of class allegations that it failed pay tipped employees minimum wage merits final approval, a federal court in New York ruled.

The resolution of the Fair Labor Standards Act and New York Labor Law claims is fair, reasonable and adequate, Judge David N. Hurd said Thursday.
