RMV Service Center in Chicopee will Expand to Offer Road Tests in Preparation for Work and Family Mobility Act
Effective Friday, June 26, the Chicopee location will begin providing road tests
Business to Business (B2B) customers may continue to drop-off registration bundles during specific hours
BOSTON - The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) is announcing the Service Center located in Chicopee will expand to offer road tests on Monday, June 26. This location will continue to accept dropped off registration bundles for Business to Business (B2B) bulk transactions for insurance agents and car dealerships including new registration and titles, registration transfers and renewals, address changes, and cancellations.
The RMV is implementing this customer service change to further support its ongoing efforts to prepare for the Work and Family Mobility Act which is scheduled to take effect on July 1. The RMV has also increased staffing and will be making translation assistance available for customers using a hotline, informational materials, and interpreter services.
