University of Rochester Medical Center and a former pathologist resolved a retaliation suit alleging URMC violated the False Claims Act by firing her for calling attention to federal grant fraud.

URMC and Rupal Mehta filed May 12 a stipulation of discontinuance with the US District Court for the Western District of New York, which Judge Frank P. Geraci Jr. signed. The case is now closed. Counsel for the parties didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
