Ruby Rose is alleging that Katy Perry sexually assaulted her in a nightclub nearly 20 years ago, a claim the singer's rep denies as "categorically false."
The Australian model-actress, known for roles in Orange Is the New Black and John Wick: Chapter 2, made the claims in posts shared on Threads on Sunday, April 12.
Rose, 40, replied to an article shared by Complex about Perry reacting to Justin Bieber's Coachella performance. She claimed in the comment section: "Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s--- what she thinks."
In a subsequent reply, Rose added that she was "only in my early 20s" at the time of the alleged incident and "It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly."
"Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes," she wrote.
