Amy E. Rudley, Esq. has been named chair of Cooper Levenson’s Employment Law Department. Rudley, a partner based in the firm’s Atlantic City office, brings extensive experience in employment law, hospitality and casino law, and defense litigation, and has long served as a trusted advisor to private, public, and governmental clients navigating complex workplace and litigation matters.
In her new role as chair of the Employment Law Department, Rudley will guide the firm’s efforts to provide strategic counsel to employers on a broad range of workplace matters, including employment litigation, workplace investigations, compliance, policy development, employee relations, training, and risk management. She will continue advising clients on day-to-day employment practices, drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, and workplace policies, while representing employers in state and federal employment matters.
Rudley also remains an integral member of the firm’s Casino & Hospitality Practice Group and Defense Litigation Department, where she represents clients in civil rights, premises liability, and other complex litigation matters. She manages all phases of litigation, from inception and discovery through trial, post-trial motions, and appeals.
