Rush has responded to claims that he is injury prone, noting that any assertion of that as a fact is false.
Since signing with AEW in 2022, Rush has had various periods of time where he was off AEW television, but during that time, he has had only one injury during his time with the company. However, due to his absences from AEW television, fans have speculated that he has dealt with more injuries.
In a new social media post on Sunday, Rush would respond to a fan claiming that he gets hurt each time the fans get behind him, with the AEW star noting that this is a false claim.
“During my time with AEW I have only been injured ONCE, and one time during Continental Classic I tweaked my knee and medical team advised I recover. I do my best to be part of every event, but any news you hear about injury prone is false. I even popped my elbow back in during a match to continue to perform. I train in Mexico at the gym and in ring, I study English daily, and study tapes, I do everything possible to be at my best and READY for any opportunity. Do not believe false narratives, EL TORO BLANCO is healthy and ready always, Monday to Monday. And REMEMBER…if you mess with the bull……”
Rush also recently responded to a fan wanting to see him appear in AAA. You can read more about that here.
