    At least three civilians have been killed and three more injured in a Russian rocket strike on the northern Ukrainian city of Chuhuiv, according to a regional police chief.

    Serhiy Bolvinov, the deputy head of Kharkiv’s regional police force, said that the rockets were likely fired from Russian territory early on Saturday morning.

    He said four rockets “presumably fired from around [the Russian city of] Belgorod at night” had hit a residential building, school and administrative block.

  • Ukraine war overshadows G20 finance talks, ends without joint communique

    A two-day meeting of finance ministers from the Group of 20 major economies ended in Indonesia without a joint communique after Russia’s war in Ukraine divided the global forum.

    During talks on the Indonesian resort island Bali, the finance chiefs looked for solutions to food and energy crises, while accusing Russian technocrats of exacerbating the problems.
