Russian propaganda continues to spread a fabrication about the existence in Ukraine of so-called death factories – the detention of Russian prisoners of war in basements and garages, where they are allegedly subjected to torture.
The Center for Countering Disinformation under the NSDC reported on Facebook that this is a classic propaganda technique of mirror projection: Russia describes its own documented system of “death factories” in the territories it has occupied, projecting it onto Ukraine.
