What’s Happening at Salesforce?
Salesforce has eliminated approximately 4,000 customer support roles — pleased with the “benefits and efficiencies” of its artificial intelligence (AI) agents.
CEO Marc Benioff claimed during a recent podcast appearance that the tech giant simply needs “less heads” due to its “Agentforce” of customer service bots.
The job cuts come after Benioff disclosed that AI is already doing around 50% of the work at Salesforce.

Samfiru Tumarkin LLP is working to determine if any Canadian employees at Salesforce have been let go.
According to LinkedIn, the company currently has more than 2,700 workers in the country.
