A San Francisco employee who said she was forced to retire after extended computer use caused severe eye injuries can proceed with claims against the city alleging disability discrimination, failure to accommodate, and retaliation, a state appellate court said Monday.
Mary Tramil worked within various city departments starting in 1998, and went on leave for eye treatments for 12 months between March 2015 and 2016 while working at the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, she said.
