Jan. 10—A restaurant management specialist will offer insights Wednesday on the impacts that new laws and regulations will have this year on small business owners.
At a free webinar running from noon to 1 p.m., Celeste Young-Ramos, CEO of the Restaurant Success Center, will go over changes to rules relating to employment matters. Among her topics will be paid bereavement, pay transparency, privacy rights and off-site marijuana use.
She will join the webinar's weekly host, Kelly Bearden, director of Cal State Bakersfield's Small Business Development Center. He plans to open the program with updates on the economy, capital resource availability and opportunities for small business recovery.
