Another scandal was addressed on the "Stop" show on TV Klan, tonight, April 7th, involving the Saranda prosecutor's office.
A file that had been dormant in a drawer for more than a year was immediately "awakened" as soon as it was reported on the "Stop" show, not to crack down on violations, but to prosecute the whistleblower.
On February 16, 2026, "Stop" published the case of Pandeli Nika, who accused his brother of taking over the family business built in 1996.
The case was referred to the Saranda Prosecutor's Office for document falsification, but prosecutor Hava Memko took no action.
After the publication, everything changed. The Tirana Prosecutor's Office acted swiftly, exercising control by court order and uncovering serious violations, including suspicions of tax evasion.
But what did the Saranda prosecutor do? Instead of investigating the abuses, she prosecuted Pandeli Nika.
And Memko did this for a notarial document, which is claimed to be forged, without any expert report or scientific evidence.
Prosecutor Memko's silent stance while being questioned by the "Stop" journalist seems to "speak" a lot.
