SDLP's Nichola Mallon 'deeply concerned' by civil service whistleblower's treatment - Belfast Telegraph

The first Executive minister has broken ranks to criticise the treatment of a civil service whistleblower who was forced out of her job while one of those who treated her appallingly has been promoted.

Yesterday, the Belfast Telegraph revealed that Department of Agriculture vet Julian Henderson had been given a temporary promotion to deputy chief vet, despite his department having just agreed to settle a massive unfair dismissal claim where a judge found that he played a key role in making the job of a colleague untenable because she had exposed animal suffering and potential fraud.
