MODESTO, Calif. — An employee at a Modesto autism therapy center is facing charges of committing a lewd act upon a child.
According to the Modesto Police Department, 35-year-old Sean Marquez was arrested Nov. 3.
Police say Marquez is an employee at the Kendall Center, which offers behavioral and language therapy for children with autism.
Police say the victim in this case is younger than 14 and the alleged crime happened at the Kendall Center.
No further information is available.
Stanislaus County jail records show that Marquez is being held on a $150,000 bond and his next court date is scheduled for Jan. 8, 2024.
