The company that employs a security guard who claimed Morgan Wallen was “too drunk” to perform at his canceled Mississippi concert on Sunday is speaking out, denouncing the man’s statements.

On Sunday evening (April 23), Wallen canceled his concert at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Mississippi just minutes before he was scheduled to take the stage, citing that “voice is shot and I am unable to sing.”

Security Claimed Wallen Was “Too Drunk” To Perform In Mississippi

Following the abrupt cancelation of the concert, rumors swirled that Wallen was “too drunk” to take the stage and that his reason for canceling the show was not true.

The rumors began after a video of a security guard working at the venue began circulating on TikTok and other social media platforms. In the clip, the security guard can be seen gossiping with fans, saying that Wallen “couldn’t walk,” was “too drunk” to perform and that a “ambulance took him.”

The guard claimed he was given that information “by head of security” and that “the losing his voice” story is “bull crap.”
