When it comes to fan interaction, Marigold “Super Rookie” Seri Yamaoka is more than happy to participate in meet and greets. Yamaoka makes sure she shows her appreciation to her fans in the form of signings and photo opportunities.
Unfortunately, there are some fans that use these meets and greets to spread lies which ends up hurting all involved.
Yamaoka addressed this in a recent social media post as there were some fans claiming they are close to her in private. Yamaoka indicated that these false rumours hurt her heart. She made a plea to her fans to interact peacefully with her.
From Seri Yamaoka:
“I’ve heard that false rumors are circulating among fans, claiming that I’m close to some of them in private, which is completely untrue. I want to enjoy signings and two-shot photo sessions with everyone, and I want to interact with you all in a fun way.
Hearing such strange false rumors really hurts my heart. I don’t want my fans to be hurt either; I want us to interact peacefully. Let’s have fun while following the rules, okay!”
When fans attend meet and greets with pro-wrestlers, they should do it responsibly and respectfully. Wrestlers don’t have to participate in signings and photo ops but they do it to show their appreciation to their fans.
Seri Yamaoka is one of these appreciative Joshi Puroresu stars and her kindness should never ever be taken advantage of.
