Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has hired partner Zach Hutton to its labor and employment practice group, the firm announced Tuesday.

Hutton joined Sheppard Mullin’s San Francisco office Sept. 20 after nearly 17 years with Paul Hastings, where he was a partner and most recently co-chair of the firm’s nationwide wage and hour practice and chair of its San Francisco employment law department. He joined Paul Hastings in January 2008. The firm didn’t immediately return a request for comment about Hutton’s departure.
