Television star Shilpa Shinde is facing heavy scrutiny after publicly revealing that the sexual harassment allegations she leveled against producer Sanjay Kohli during their explosive 2016 fallout were entirely made up. The confession, which took place on a podcast hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and Harssh Limbachiyaa, has reopened old wounds from one of the small screen's most infamous legal feuds. The storm began brewing online when a snippet from the interview spread across social platforms. In the video, Shilpa looked back at the bitter legal war that followed her sudden departure from the hit comedy series Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!, openly stating that the workplace harassment lawsuit she threw at Kohli was false.
Detailing the fallout, Shilpa expressed remorse for the damage done to the producer's reputation. “Poor man, he ended up getting defamed because of it. Today, through this platform, I want to say that it was false. I am confessing this for the first time. After that, we reached a settlement and the payments that were due to me at the time, which we used to receive after three months, were cleared.”
