Jonathan Naylor, partner, people and reward at Shoosmiths, will present a session on what employers need to know about the Employment Rights Act on the second day of Employee Benefits Live 2026.
In a session titled ‘What’s next for the Employment Rights Act: What benefits leaders need to know’, Naylor will explain why the Employment Rights Act 2025 is the biggest change to the UK employment law landscape in decades, and why all HR professionals need to be aware of the implications for their organisation.
“The session will cover the key changes which have either been implemented already or which are expected within the next year, so that HR specialists can ensure they, and their organisations, are prepared,” he said.
Naylor hopes HR, reward and benefit professionals will be able to learn in more detail about the impact of the act.
“Attendees should come away from the session with a clear idea of which areas of change will present the greatest challenges for them, and some ideas on how they will address those challenges,” he added.
Naylor’s session will take place on Wednesday 14 October at 1.30pm on the Future of Work stage.
