SkyWest Workers Seek $1.3 Million in Attorney Fees in Wage Suit - Bloomberg Law

Counsel for SkyWest Airlines flight attendants who reached a $4 million class action settlement of California wage-and-hour claims against the carrier asked a federal trial court to approve more than $1.3 million in attorneys’ fees.

The suit alleged SkyWest didn’t consistently provide flight attendants with timely meal or rest breaks, or pay them for missed meal and rest breaks; failed to provide complete and accurate wage statements; didn’t provide payment of all wages within permissible time periods; and failed to pay all terminated employees the correct amount of wages earned or provide them accurate itemized wage statements.
