WNBA star Sophie Cunningham has shut down allegations about her supposed falling out with former podcast co-host West Wilson.
Cunningham has called out media outlets for spreading false information about her relationship with childhood friend and “Summer House” star Wilson.
In her recent appearance on “The Colin Cowherd Podcast,” the Indiana Fever guard gave her honest reaction to the allegations about the matter.
“It’s just dumb, like, it’s just dumb,” Cunningham said. “All these news outlets are just fake. They’re all fraud. Nothing is real.
“First of all, I thought WNBA, great business opportunity. There is no really good WNBA podcast that strictly talks about basketball. And so I was like, ‘Why are we not talking more like this?’”
The second-round draft pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft also made it clear that there is no bad blood between herself and Wilson.
“And so I loved West, I think we had a really fun time together,” Cunningham added. “I know that he’s off doing great things, too. But he was going through some stuff. Then I was going through some stuff.”
Now, the former “Show Me Something” podcast has been rebranded to “No Hesitation,” with professional basketball trainer Drew Hanlen as Cunningham’s newest co-host.
The Fever star doubled down on the main reason why she made this career move, emphasizing that it was not personal against Wilson.
