St. Cloud YMCA Sued by EEOC Over Sex Bias, Hostile Environment - Bloomberg Law
The St. Cloud Area Family YMCA is facing allegations from the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission that it engaged in sex discrimination and constructively discharged a teenage female employee in violation of federal law, according to a new suit in federal court.
The EEOC alleges that since at least December 2021, the St. Cloud YMCA subjected a group of female employees to a hostile work environment and constructive discharge based on their sex. Specifically, a male manager repeatedly propositioned one of the employees for sex and made offensive comments about the bodies of the teenage employees.
