McAfee & Taft has further expanded its top-ranked Labor & Employment Group with the addition of trial attorney Hilary H. Wise, whose practice is devoted to counseling management in all aspects of labor and employment law, as well as defending employers in lawsuits in federal and state courts. She also represents employers in proceedings before federal and state administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, National Labor Relations Board, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Oklahoma Office of Civil Rights Enforcement, Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, and the Oklahoma Department of Labor.
In addition to being a lawyer, Wise holds the distinction of being a certified professional (SHRM-CP) through the Society for Human Resources Management, the world’s largest HR professional organization.
After graduating magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in English from Columbia University in 2015, the Oklahoma native worked in the Student Services department of Columbia Law School and as a legal assistant for a global investment management firm before returning to Oklahoma to enter law school. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma College and Law in 2022 and currently serves on the University of Oklahoma College of Law Young Alumni Board.
