A former Stericycle Inc. driver dropped a lawsuit accusing the company of docking his work hours for meal breaks he never actually took, depriving him of pay.
The waste disposal company regularly deducted a 30-minute daily meal period each day even though its drivers often skipped their breaks and worked off-the-clock during that time, the ex-employee alleged in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois last year. He voluntarily dismissed the case Tuesday.
