Steve Wynn cashes his chips as he sells off luxury property - Daily Mail

Billionaire casino magnate Steve Wynn is selling a swath of luxury properties worth nearly $300 million across the country as an appeals court in San Francisco agrees to hear a major lawsuit against him.

Wynn, 80, is selling his homes in Sun Valley, Idaho, Palm Beach, New York City, Beverly Hills while in June he sold a home in Las Vegas for $17.5 million, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Earlier this month, the ninth district appeals court in California agreed to hear a racketeering lawsuit against Wynn being brought by his former employee Angelica Limcaco.

Limcaco previously worked in a beauty salon in one of Wynn's properties. She says that after reporting that one of her employees said that Wynn raped her in 2005, the salon manager was blacklisted in the industry.

In 2018, an extensive Wall Street Journal feature alleged multiple sexual assault allegations against Wynn. The fallout from their reporting led to Wynn being ousted from his casino company. He has consistently maintained his innocence.

Among the latest of Wynn's properties to hit the market is his 12,400 square foot Sun Valley home. The billionaire bought the house in 2009 for $7.5 million, he's now looking for $27 million for the property.

The Idaho home comes equipped with silk carpets, cashmere-wrapped beams, a gym and heated pool.
