Stinson LLP is pleased to welcome Amanda Laufer to the firm's Los Angeles office as an attorney in the Labor, Employment and Employee Benefits Practice Division. Laufer, who previously spent more than 12 years at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), will focus her practice on labor relations, union representation matters, internal investigations and workplace compliance.

At the NLRB, Laufer investigated unfair labor practice charges, conducted union elections, litigated complex labor disputes and negotiated settlements. Her regulatory background equips her with a nuanced understanding of the intersection between employer obligations and labor law enforcement. Her approach emphasizes proactive risk management and effective dispute resolution to protect clients’ interests and promote compliant work environments.
Laufer is the fourth attorney to join the recently established Century City office, following the addition of partners Ashley Fickel, Jeff Huron and Michael Wippler.
