Super Micro Whistleblower Advances Suit Over Retaliation (1) - Bloomberg Law News

A former Super Micro Computer Inc. director may proceed with claims that the company unlawfully retaliated against him for calling attention to misleading accounting practices and other misconduct, a federal district court said.

Bob K. Luong met the administrative complaint filing requirements for a whistleblower claim under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, Judge Noël Wise of the US District Court for the Northern District of California said in a Tuesday order, which denied Super Micro’s motion to dismiss.
