The US Supreme Court on Tuesday directed a federal appeals court to reconsider a lawsuit involving a hospital’s right to seek prompt Medicaid payments from a state.
The top court granted review, vacated the judgment, and sent the case back to the US Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit to determine if the result was controlled by the Supreme Court’s decision this term in Health & Hosps. Corp. of Marion Cty. v. Talevski. The procedure is known as a GVR.
