Take a closer look at election fraud claims, says reader - Manistee News Advocate

Let’s look at the facts. In 2020, suspected election fraud was reported in Muskegon. It was investigated by the local police, the state police and the FBI. No one was charge with a crime.

No one at GBI Strategies nor the Democratic Party were ever charged with a crime.

In 2021, after months of extensive investigation that looked at voting over the entire state including Wayne, Muskegon and Atrium counties, the Michigan Senate Election Oversight Committee, controlled by a Republican majority, issued it’s report on the 2020 presidential election in
Michigan. In that report, they found that their investigations could find no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

The 2020 election was conducted fairly, and the winner of that election was Joe Biden. The committee went on to ask Dana Nessel to begin investigations of any individual who might be using false accusations or conspiracy theories of voter fraud to raise money or for their own political agenda as that would be a crime.

Mr. Lawrence, in his Sept. 16 guest column, would have you believe that new facts have come to light but he has none to present you. I think you can trust the oversight committee’s report. If that Republican committee could have found any indication of voter fraud anywhere in Michigan, they would have made it known.
