Tax Whistleblower Asks for Rehearing on Condo Group Award Claim - Bloomberg Law

A tax whistleblower said an appeals court should rehear his case because a three-judge panel improperly deferred to Treasury Department regulations when it concluded the IRS didn’t owe him an award.

Michael Lissack filed his petition asking for a rehearing from the panel or, alternatively, from a wider slate of judges at the US Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
