A technology CEO who lashed out at Twitter in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's new documentary is being sued by a New York lawyer over claims he tweeted 'false and defamatory' statements.
Christopher Bouzy, 47, appeared in Harry and Meghan's Netflix doc after his company BotSentinel issued a report saying the couple was on the receiving end of millions of trolls.
He claims his company looked at hundreds of thousands of tweets which included 'hateful content' – blaming Meghan's half-sister Samantha Markle for being behind at least 11 accounts.
But DailyMail.com can reveal that an ex-NYPD cop-turned-lawyer has launched a lawsuit against Bouzy himself for calling him the 'son of two crackheads' amongst other 'false' statements.
Nate Broughty filed the suit in October in the New Jersey Superior court against Bouzy, after claiming that BotSentinel flagged his social media as spreading disinformation and harassment.
Bouzy also publicly identified Broughty by his real name, which the attorney was trying to keep private, the complaint alleges.
In several tweets he claimed that Broughty was not a real lawyer or a police officer, before later admitting that his claims were false.
Bouzy also previously tweeted that he thought that the Prince and Princess of Wales were ageing in 'banana years'.
