Muscat: Ten expats have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP) for trafficking in contraband and for violating labour and residence laws in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.
"The Police Command of Al Dakhiliyah Governorate arrested ten expatriates on charges of trafficking in contraband and violating the laws of labour and residence. ROP seized large quantities of tobacco derivatives, cigarettes and alcoholic beverages. The legal procedures are being completed against them, " ROP said in a statement.
